Pumpkin pie beer is in bottles. Tastes awesome. 10 oz of lactose added body and sweetness. It's going to be awesome.

Finally starting the 60 minute hop additions. Damned if one small piece of grain and a lazy brewer didn't add 1.5 hours to brew day.

Missed my strike temp by 4 degrees somehow. Now I'm boiling more h2o on the stove. The specific heat of water is a cruel mistress.

pumpkin pie beer is 83% AA -- 1.048 to 1.008. clove and nutmeg are apparent. cinnamon will come with the lactose. vanilla tonight. yum.

In the future when I add spices to beer I will do so through a sieve.
